Daily Spa Ritual

After cleansing with the appropriate Face-Off Cleanser, secure hair off face and apply to damp skin with fingertips or Masque Application Brush, taking care to avoid the eye area. Allow the masque to remain on your skin for up to 30 minutes. Rinse well, pat dry and tone with appropriate BFF Toner. Apply appropriate Burnout Sunscreen (daytime) and Glowshine, Moonshine or Sunshine Facial Treatment and Eye Creme.

Weekly Spa Masque

After cleansing with the appropriate Face-Off Cleanser, secure hair off your face. Steam your pores open* by adding one teaspoon of appropriate Pore Me Tres Bag tea to a large, clean pot. Cover herbs with two to three inches of water, stir and heat until the water boils. Reduce flame to its lowest setting and cover the pot to keep the beneficial herbal vapors from evaporating.

After five minutes, turn off the flame and remove the covered pot from the stove, placing it on a heat resistant surface. Let the water cool down for 3-5 minutes. Remove the lid from pot and wait about 1 minute, to allow the water to cool slightly. Lean over the pot (not too close!) and drape a large clean towel over your head, close your eyes and let the herbal steam liquefy the excess oil in your skin and open* your pores.

Allow the steam to penetrate your skin for at least three minutes. Apply masque, as instructed above, to your moist skin as soon as you are done steaming, for maximum benefit.

*Pores don't really open and close. They do, however, expand with heat and contract in colder temperatures. This is how they regulate the temperature of the body.
