Zinc and Sulfur Masque with Fullers Earth Clay

The Pore Me Bright Zinc and Sulfur Masque is made with an exquisite blend of fragrant antibacterial herbal extracts, zinc oxide, purified sulfur, organic salicylic acid from black willowbark and Fuller's Earth clay. Together these ingredients will quickly get rid of existing blemishes and the bacteria that can result in future breakouts. This multi- purpose masque also contains organic essential oils of tea tree and pink grapefruit to dissolve debris trapped deep within pores and organic essential oils of birch bark and yarrow, which contain high levels of exfoliating, acne fighting salicylic acid.

Fullers Earth Clay, also known as the "bleaching clay", draws toxins out of the pores and has a mild lightening affect on the outer most layer of the skin. Zinc oxide and sulfur work together to rid the skin of excess oil. Pore Me Bright Zinc and Sulfur Masque works best on oily, acne prone or combination skin. It can be used as an overnight spot treatment on dry, mature or sensitive skin.

Ingredients

Fullers Earth Clay, Kaolin Clay, Purified Sulfur, Organic Salicylic Acid, Zinc Oxide, Organic Witch Hazel, Rosemary Distillate, Citric Acid, Organic Black Willow Bark Extract, Organic Essential Oils.

Daily Spa Ritual

After cleansing with the appropriate Face-Off Cleanser, secure hair off face and apply to damp skin with fingertips or Masque Application Brush, taking care to avoid the eye area. Allow the masque to remain on your skin for up to 30 minutes. Rinse well, pat dry and tone with appropriate BFF Toner. Apply appropriate Burnout Sunscreen (daytime) and Glowshine, Moonshine or Sunshine Facial Treatment and Eye Creme.

Weekly Spa Masque

After cleansing with the appropriate Face-Off Cleanser, secure hair off your face. Steam your pores open* by adding one teaspoon of appropriate Pore Me Tres Bag tea to a large, clean pot. Cover herbs with two to three inches of water, stir and heat until the water boils. Reduce flame to its lowest setting and cover the pot to keep the beneficial herbal vapors from evaporating.

After five minutes, turn off the flame and remove the covered pot from the stove, placing it on a heat resistant surface. Let the water cool down for 3-5 minutes. Remove the lid from pot and wait about 1 minute, to allow the water to cool slightly. Lean over the pot (not too close!) and drape a large clean towel over your head, close your eyes and let the herbal steam liquefy the excess oil in your skin and open*your pores.

Allow the steam to penetrate your skin for at least three minutes. Apply masque, as instructed above, to your moist skin as soon as you are done steaming, for maximum benefit.

* Pores don't really open and close. They do, however, expand with heat and contract in colder temperatures. This is how they regulate the temperature of the body.

"The Masque is... just incredible. I mean, wow. This is such a fantastic masque! I've never had a clay masque work so effectively and thoroughly. It has so many wonderful clays! So many herbs! And it smells delicious. I had so much fun applying it last night. And it worked so well. My skin actually glowed. This now my top favorite facial masque. I have some pimples around my jawline and right cheek. When I applied the Masque last night, I added an extra dollop on the breakouts and left the masque on for twenty minutes, then I rinsed and moisturized and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning, half the pimples had shrunk, the blackheads were completely gone, and my skin felt totally smooth all over. I have tried all sorts of mud and clay masques and this is the first time ever that something has worked so well overnight. I also should mention that I am 29, and the last time I saw my facialist, a couple of months ago, she said -- and I quote -- "You have perfect skin. You have the skin of a fifteen-year-old." (Naturally I asked if I should give it back!) I have always looked very young; most people assume I am in college, and recently, one guy thought I had just graduated high school (despite the wedding and engagement rings on my fingers). One more thing: I am a bit of an "ingredient snob." I will only use certain ingredients in certain products. All my moisturizers contain a combination of sea buckthorn oil, tamanu oil, helichrysum oil, rosehip oil, calendula oil, and squalane oil, plus other oils and extracts. Yet I had not found a clay masque I was happy with until now. Yours is the first masque I've tried that contains a whopping amount of vitally powerful clays, plus all those soothing, healing herbs and oils. This is pretty awesome.
