Spring Booty Camp Day SIX (Saturday): WORKOUT!

Ciao Bootyiers! As mentioned, Cas and I will be away, so I am posting this now to guide you through Saturday… it’s really not much, but, well, you know.

Today, I want you to do your workout. Your REAL workout. I know, I know, “But, it’s Saturday, Brendita!!!! I wanna play” You CAN play: After you workout. Keep on thinking about what you’re eating: lots of water, green tea, more water, fresh fruit, whole grains in sensible portions, live veggies in a wide variety of colors, healthy protien & some whole grains for the second emal of the day (your first meal should be fresh fruit).  When it’s play time, PLAY! Go for a run, climb a tree, chase a chicken. You know? Like in the movie “Rocky”.

Come on back and let everyone know what you did on Saturday. I am going to post Sunday’s blog entry right now. You can read it in advance, of course. Maybe that would be a good idea, so you can get your spa day items prepared. Yup. Tomorrow’s going to be a spa day.

On MONDAY, I’m going to get a little Drill Sargent-ish on y’all. We’re going to get a little more speciific about do’s and don’ts. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if everyone brought a Booty Buddy on Monday!!! Yes! I am asking you to please tell a friend to join the Spring Booty Camp with you and post on MONDAY. Remember, the winners will be chosen by YOU all: We’re going to vote to see who put in the most effort and we will choose a winner together. Three words: PURPLE TRAIN CASE!!!  The winner gets a three tiered purple train case, filled with Brendita’s Body Works products of her choice! I’ll put up a photo of this train case next week.  It is SO cute, I was VERY tempted to keep it for myself… but that would just be wrong.

Thank you all for being so awesome. We’ve got a nice little group here and I am very happy to see how well everyone is getting along. Once the forum is up and running, well, it’s just gonna be ON! Cas is working on the forum in the way that only he can. It’s about 98% complete. When we return from our getaway, he’ll finish it and I have a pretty good feeling it will be live next week.

Go workout and please, post your workout and what you ate for today. Be well and as K-Stevia says “Make it a great day”!

  1. I had the craziest weekend ever! I’m not all that sure what I ate… but it wasnt much (not on purpose, just because I was busy!) I do know that I had a banana, grapes, raisin bran, beans, cornbread, poke salad, watercress, morels, eggs (not all in one meal!) I hiked all over the place this weekend though, as it is time to gather lots of edibles from the woods!

  2. I woke up and did yoga today :) I did some power walking but not too much. I’m going to do better this week!

As far as what I ate… I had a turkey sub from Quiznos for lunch and some baked chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. I skipped out on breakfast because I slept through it. Yes; fail to me, I know.

The weekends are the hardest times for me to stay on track!

  3. AWESOMENESS!!!! Sorry, Bootyiers! I thought I posted Sundays blog before we took off… but I didn’t! PLEASE forgive me!

    MMP, K-Stevia & Zedster: Good on y’all!
K-Stevia: Thank you for the info! It’s quite remarkable!!! Tomorrow, it’s gonna be Drill Sargent Bren!!!! Don’t get scared ;)

  4. I was at an all day conference, but I got good eating AND a good workout from it. I biked to the conference: since I was running late and I missed my way twice, I was peddling like a mad person! A great 5+ mile cardio workout. At the conference they served cinnamon rolls for breakfast (boo), but I drank plenty of Tazo tesans and tea. Lunch was very vegetarian-friendly: sauteéd spinach, green salad, veggie lasagna, rice with sun dried tomatoes, and bread. I stayed away from the lasagna, but ate everything else. At the snack/reception after the event I had nuts, fruit kebabs and lots of berries. Then I biked back home—not missing my way—so it was 4.7 miles. I was so worried about being away all day at this conference and messing up my Booty Camp, but things happy worked out.

  5. Happy Saturday, Bootyiers!

    How is everyone coming along?

I had Cream of Rice and organic green tea both with stevia. An inbetween snack was strawberry-banana coconut milk yogurt.

For lunch, I made an organic juice from rhubarb, kale, carrot, garlic, ginger, red cabbage, and yellow squash. I added maca root powder to it and almond milk. Then I had rice and beans for a complete protein and some organic green tea with stevia for belly-flattening.

The fat in my ankles is good, but the fat in the torso is toxic! I pulled a leaf from my peppermint plant to aid digestion and act as a body deodorizer.

I love chlorophyll! The Bible says not to eat animal fat and blood, but it says that the leaf is our medicine. Chlorophyll=plant blood; Coconut=plant fat. I’m replacing bad habits with great ones! Coconut and avocado oils actually flatten the belly, so I add them to hot foods and drinks like tea and cereal.

For an inbetween snack, I ate garbanzo beans with rice. I drank Yogi chamomile tea.

For dinner, I ate red snapper with organic tomato sauce, bell pepper, mushroom. I drank organic vanilla rice milk and unsweetened coconut milk with organic flax seed oil and maca root powder.

For dessert, I ate dark chocolate with chilies and an organic frozen coconut fruit bar.

For exercise, I did stretching (especially for my shoulders and legs), yoga, chair dips, running, walking, planks, squats, lunges. When you feel like you’re going to break, BEND!

Take care, and make it a great day!
